About RNGdle

A 30-second daily ritual: scratch today’s number, see how rare it is, brag accordingly.

What is this?

RNGdle is a daily game about numbers. Once per UTC day, the site rolls a single number between 0 and 1,000,000. The twist: the roll is seeded by the date itself, so every player everywhere rolls the same number — like Wordle, but the word is an integer and the dictionary is mathematics.

The number is then checked against 29 rarity traits — palindromes, primes, perfect squares, Fibonacci numbers, repeating digits, meme numbers and more. Rarer traits score higher, and your total places the roll in a tier from Trash to Mythic.

A transparent, reproducible seed

There is no server and nothing is hidden. The daily number is computed in your browser:

seed   = hash("rngdle-" + YYYYMMDD)   // today's UTC date
number = floor(mulberry32(seed) * 1_000_001)

Anyone can recompute any day’s number, past or future. We publish the exact algorithm so the game is auditable — fairness by construction, not by promise.

Honest rarity

Every trait count on this site is exact: at build time we analyze all 1,000,001 numbers and publish the histogram. “Rarer than 96% of numbers” means precisely that.
