Palindrome Numbers
The same story told forwards and backwards.
What is it?
A palindrome number reads identically left-to-right and right-to-left — 121, 9009, 738837. The digits mirror around the center, which makes palindromes one of the oldest and most loved number patterns. In RNGdle, palindromes of 2 digits or more count; single digits are trivially palindromic and get no credit.

How it scores
Scoring is pure information theory: the rarer the trait, the more bits it earns. Palindromes make up roughly 0.2% of the range, so hitting one adds a solid chunk of score before any decay.
The formula: -log2(count / 1,000,001) bits per trait, capped at 20, summed with 0.5 decay per additional trait.

FAQ
Is 7 a palindrome?
Technically yes, but every single digit reads the same backwards, so RNGdle only scores palindromes with 2 or more digits.
What is the largest palindrome in the game?
999999 — six nines, which is also a repdigit and an ABAB pattern, making it one of the highest-scoring numbers in the whole range.
How many palindrome numbers are there between 0 and 1,000,000?
Exactly 1,989 of them, out of 1,000,001 numbers — about 1 in 503.
