Ascending numbers climb one step per digit — 123, 56789, the legendary 123456. A full ascending sequence rises from first digit to last with no breaks; an ascending run is a streak of 4+ climbing digits inside an otherwise ordinary number, like 883456.

How it scores
Full sequences are far rarer than runs and score accordingly. If the whole number is one unbroken climb, only the full-sequence trait counts — the run inside it does not double-dip.
The formula: -log2(count / 1,000,001) bits per trait, capped at 20, summed with 0.5 decay per additional trait.
